Edit logo in Adobe Illustrator

My guess is, highlight the text with the Text Tool and change the text.

The text may not be editable. Which means it may have been converted to curves. If that's the case, you would need to create a new circle/ellipse, then type the text on that path, size it and add the gradient again.

this is the file. i think the text isn't editable. I need to replace CREATIVE DESIGN with AMAZON ENGINEERING. thanks

it is as Mike [mwenz] said - you will need to remake the text, it is not editable in your file

,,, besides which if the OP bought the logo - you probably don't have the right to modify it as it is unlikely to be in the public domain...

but that aside as you have demonstrated, it's not difficult if you know how - but unless we know what program the OP is using we can't advise, can we... profile does not help
