FAIL - Different Mouse-over Animations to a Named Layer

Dear Xara...

I have checked all the way back to v11 and I find the I can only apply a single Animation Effect to a given Layer from one or more shapes.
This is despite the text that indicates that you can apply different effects, one each to any shape:

The Animation dialog is non-modal, which means it can stay on screen while you select different items on the page. Click the Apply button instead of the OK to keep the dialog on screen. You can then select another item to change the animation on that without having to re-display the dialog.

Can this omission be rectified.

I agree it changes the animation effect for everything on that named layer.

might be a better wording. But like so much with Xara it's just kicked into the long grass and left unfixed.

The one that really gets my goat is drop a new colour on the page rectangle and Xara reapplies a drop-shadow to the page. How many years have we moaned about that!

Egg, I agree. The annoying thing was i hit is repeatedly most of yesterday, thinking why can this not be fixed?
