    Default Miles M20

Built as an emergency fighter in 1940, the Miles M20 was cheap and quick to build, made from wood, just in case the Spitfire and Hurricane factories were destroyed. Never required, so it never went into production.

You certainly know how to dig them up and depict them flying realistically in an impressive and artistic manner. The imagination soars.

The plane looks like it is softly glowing.

Are your clouds vector or bitmap?

Thanks for your comments Boy, Rik spondoolix.
Egg, it actually performed well for it's time.
Gary, the main subjects, which are usually aircraft are always 100% vector. The landscapes or clouds are usually a mix of vector raster. I draw them out in vector and colour block in vector. I transfer that to a paint program and finish off the backgrounds with a digital brush. I will also mix and match backgrounds I've done before in Xara to come up with a new one. Here's an example of some of the steps in a past piece of work.

Having been a fan of your work for a long time I like everything you do, and this piece is no exception. Thank you for the image and description of how you do the clouds and such. I'll Have to give that a try.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
