    Default Slideshow bug or not

Hello, it's my first entry in the forum so I don't know if I must make a presentation.

    So my question;

I like this slideshow https://www.xara.com/us/web-designer...ow/||undefined and I want use it in a website.

I understand how it work but I have a questioning with his structure. I see a "mouse over" section for each photo in the edit mode, I can put an effect on each mouse over photo but when I try the slideshow in the preview they don't work under the mouse.

It is a bug or the mouse over is off in the slideshow and the section is unnecessary ?

Lylo, welcome to TalkGraphics. Unfortunately, the Circular Slideshow Widget only handles images and so text and other additions are ignored.

    It is very limiting.

You could make a bitmap copy of image and text and add that in instead.
All you then get is a static display.

Here is a little twist on the circular photo slider: https://initiostar.co.uk/demo/Cube/#xl_xr_page_index. This is using the code from the Ultimate Supersite Slider and Pro+ (with the navigation popup). A few glitches to sort out and check, but thought it worth the share. Your welcome to try embedding in placeholder to see the effect.

I Acorn, thank you for your answer.

It's that's I understand and so the mouse over is deactivate.

I see an another sad thing, the links are not for the anchor, just one is possible. It's damage because the slideshow is nice for a presentation of person. With one click on each for open a text description this slideshow was ideal.
So I must find a workaround.

Thank you for the bipmat suggest.

I Gary, it's nice in the box. Is it possible to put some links to anchors in the title text please ?

I have not tried to put anchors into this approach - the thought has always been to have a free-flowing slider (supersite) that could be embedded into a main website (more like a slider widget). In my case the anchors would be in the widget so a bit tricky to get them to land in the right place in the main site.

I'm not sure what design you have in mind, but if you were thinking photos. maybe in a circular portrait format with links to headings or anchors, here is an idea you might like to look at:

Each photo is slightly transparent on the MouseOff layer. When you MouseOver a photo you see the original and a caption. You can link each photo to whatever you want ( Heading, Anchor, URL). You just need to clone a photo to create more and drag an image from the bitmap gallery to fill it with something different.

    Hi Gary,

thank you very much for the suggest.
I found my solution with slide show only for photos and under this the name of each to activate some layers as you suggest
