Thread: Chrome sphere

    Default Chrome sphere

I came across the tutorial linked to below and followed it. It gave me quite a few hours of interest and taught me things that I didn't know the program was capable of. Thanks Gary Priester.

The tutorial is some years old and done in a much earlier version of the program but it was possible to figure out where all the controls are in Xara Photo & Graphics Designer 17. A different background to the finished item in the tutorial but that maybe makes it look even more alien.

Ah yes, a long time ago. There are still a lot of tutorials at archive.xaraxone.com I did the XaraXone for about 15 years.

There are some good tutorials on there and I may do another one soon. I did a magnifying glass some time ago that I think was one of yours. I feel didn't get the contour on the handle quite right. The worst part is that I didn't keep the .xar file so I could go back later and have another go.

My all time favourite was "Touch of Glass" ... just brilliant.
