Page height

I have a question regarding page height. My current page height is 955x1419. If I add extra items to the page and pull down the page size bar at the bottom of the screen, ALL the items on my page elongate including the header, nav bar, etc. If I don't do it this way but instead right click and go to "Page Options" and change say the page height from 1419 to 1919, it does the same. All I want is extra blank space, how do I fix this?

Todd, sounds like you have a Stretch option set on all your objects.

Select all and right-click and pick Auto-fit to Page.
Early version have Position on page as the dialog.

Hi Acorn, that's not working. I did notice I had "Push" on also so I turned that off during "select All". When I right click it brought up a box with a ton of options. I didn't choose anything except "Auto Fit to page". Put then when I went back to the page and pulled the page down on the bottom of the screen everything still shifts downward including the nav bar? I'm attaching my file so you can see....

It is as Acorn says, you have Auto-Fit selected.

Select your index page, then:
File > Page Options > Auto-Fit To Page (button) > remove the tick from Auto-Fit All Objects
OK your way out, take a deep breath, drag the bottom of the page down and give a nod of satisfaction.
