New Xara UI not good

After using Xara Pro 4 for the last decade + it stopped working I upgraded to Designer pro X. Is there any way to alter the user interface, the dark UI in my humble opinion is terrible, you can hardly see the icons on the toolbars.

Close XDP and go to C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro X. Open the folder with the version number of XDP you have, locate xaradark_theme.xml and rename it (e.g., add 'OLD'). Perhaps good to first copy this file for safekeeping. Restart XDP and you should have the light-grey interface again.

Or just press Ctrl+Alt+ Shift+s ....

And to revert to the dark UI, press it again ...

But I wholeheartedly agree; the dark interface is not what I'd like to see.

If I recall correctly, using your method also resets all customized settings of the user interface.

I just tried your method and nothing happened, am i doing something wrong?

ctrl+alt+shift+s is a developer keystroke, not officially supported by xara for user use - if it works, it works - but it may not continue to do so... there can be issues for example with renerding on some systems as i recall
