flim, sorry to harp but it is all in the Help file.

You unlink the NavBar, make changes whatever method you like and then relink the graphics back into a NavBar.

A single button does not need to become a NavBar, just create MouseOff & MouseOver (& MouseDown) graphics, soft-group and add a URL.

If you follow Christine's approach, you have to do the exact same detail change on all relevant layers - few do.

Actually I have add a few buttons using the Navigation bar dialog, but after that I cannot change the vertical dimension of the button. Ctrl+click didn't work, the button groups under Navbar group are greyed out. I found that I have to Ungroup the navbar, now I can select individual button group, and reduce the vertical dimension, I change the first button. Then I select all buttons and Create Navigation bar again, a different dialog pop up, ask me to choose whether the same design apply to all buttons.

I am not sure ungroup the Navbar is the right way to change the button appearance or not.

You have an option to make the first and last button a different style. Choose the first option where you want to keep all buttons the same style (as per the Help documentation).

In the Nav Bar Options without un-grouping the buttons, check the Make All Buttons Same Size option.

Now you do not have to upgroup.

Edit the HOME button. Ctrl click to select the button shape or the text.

Any changes made to the home button will be applied to the other buttons.

When you are done, un-check All Buttons Same Size.

I see, after uncheck Adjust button widths to labels I can Ctrl click the button and edit. Thank you.
