The web page shows no company office or traditional land-line or company identifier and several of the promises would be illegal in the UK.

Personally I would have nothing to do with a client making these claims and I would be concerned that you will be paid and possibly implicated in wrong-doing.

There are a lot of problems with the promises made by your client that makes me wonder if this is a scam.

    Be careful.

    Google translatión

Thank you very much for the advice...

I do not know in the UK, here, the market for buying and selling "cars with debts" is a mafia.

None of the many "companies in the sector" show their data .... It is a mafia that buys cars from people with problems, and then imports them ... and sells it to the first naive ..

I will try to sell the page to one of the "legal" ones ...

It showed the page to share that with very simple effects you can "dress" a page and look "pretty good" ...

So there is no actual client - you made this as an example?

I am shocked that you imagine that this page would be in any way appropriate to a bona-fide company and is a good example to show to potential clients if as you say, and I suspected, only crooks would use it.

    Goole translation
I knew him and I made him the page (the one with the root, without / in the url: it's very "crappy") for free ... by commitment ...
When things started to go well for him, he asked me to do it for him, the better .....
    He wanted to pay € 200 ...

before I give it to his competition ......

["I'm surprised you think your page is appropriate for a serious business"

Google tells me what it said ...

    :-(

You say it by "the official data"? ]

I don't think we are communicating well and I think I don't want to hear any more details about this, so no more from me on this subject.

Xara is not that hard to use, it's inexpensive, lots of tutorials, and the results can be great on the webpage given the designer.

None of which addresses the Thread's request.

I can agree that the XDAs are easy to use. They, however, need lots of care and understanding to deliver clean and worthwhile designs.
Ultimately, an XDA designer is not coding but still has to be aware of the underlying web technology.
Throwing gizmos and widgets onto a page does not necessarily inspire the viewer to linger.

So back to the original post. Show me a nice website produced with Xara.
Have we answered your question @rsrsrs?
One of my favourites which I bookmark for simplicity is http://ipauland.com/index.html#about
I constantly remind myself of what Gary Priester posted a long time ago. Clean, simple, minimal text.
I try to produce that, but still abide with clients wishes.
Some people want so much text. Heavens! Produce a feeling with a theme for web, and leave print for newsletters.

    I put a lot of work into this one: https://d-aesthetics.ch/aesthetik.htm // https://d-aesthetics.ch/EN/beauty.htm.
Hover over the image under BEHANDLUNGSZONEN/TREATMENT AREAS.

Now under client control but as of today looks as I delivered.
