    Default Curtiss Wright Demon

Dragging out an old one. The Curtiss Wright CW-21, first flew in 1938. This light weight, lightly armed aircraft was designed to quickly intercept bombers but not to dogfight. It had a climb rate of 4500 ft/min. A few went to China and the Dutch east Army.

Plane needs a thorough washing Gray. :-) Nice patina effect. Adds value on Antiques Roadshow.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.

Joe, thanks, usually get the ideas from books or mags.
They were working girls, Gary. No time for wax jobs.
