Xara now markets the Plus range, which are all subscription: https://www.xara.com/uk/products/.
Xara refer to the Magix products as Legacy: https://www.xara.com/uk/products/. These are purchased covered by the Update Service for a yearly renewal (intermittent subscription) but yours to use forever (subject to SNAFUs previously advised).
