What is the best way to export a Xara file into PowerPoint?

I believe that v16 introduced PPT Export as a beta, which will closely match the Xara Cloud one.

I do recall trying this a year back and found Xara Cloud could not handle Steps (which happen to be in Step Layers) at all.

Help > About displays "Xara Designer Pro X 16.3.0.57723 DL x64 Oct 25 2019".
It is so hard because a whizz at MagiXara decided to go for the Update service effectively unaware of version control.
You missed out v15. The Serial Key for v15 & v16 is the same so you can install both under one licence.

Xara call it Xara Designer Pro X (16) but hid the version to make it more fun.
