    xdp6 High resolution display support

    Hi,

I cannot use Xara at the moment due to its incompatibility with high-DPI screens (4k+).

What is the ETA of a fix - what version will finally have this? I suppose version 16 still does not have it.

Please do not recommend me use the online version - until it has feature parity and keyboard shortcut compatibility with Xara X I might as well use anything else.

    Thanks!
    Silver

Silver, my best guess is never but I do earnestly hope to be proved wrong.

we have threads about this, but no recent word from Xara/Magix...

there are 4K screens and 4K screens of course, some are better than others [ie the more expensive up to a point]

I have moved this thread to Dear Xara. I have not purchased a 4K monitor for this reason.

Thanks Gary. [So what was the reason you purchased one? ]

i have no meaningful issue with my 4k cintiq at 200% but you would not be buying one just to use as a monitor

Any news if Pro X 17 includes a fix for 4k monitors?

You are out of luck on this, this time around.

Acorn's prediction of never is probably closer to the mark.
