Default Exporting layers as separate SVG files

    Hi,

Is there a way of automatically exporting each layer of your image into a separate SVG file? I am wanting to import the separate components of an image into a tool to allow animation/interactivity of these separate elements and that tool needs to operate on separate svg components. I have structures my images in Designer Pro X 16.3 as each element needing to be animated on a separate layer.

I think the only file formats you can do this with are Photoshop PSD and PNG.

What you probably will have to do is isolate each layer (the [S] icon in the Layers menu and export one layer at a time.

Gary's approach is the only way I can see it being done.

An automation approach might be possible to add a Class Name to every object one a layer: htmlclass="layermn" and then use your tool to separate out the layered classes. This required your tool to do the separation.
