    Bug Scale Line Widths

    Dear Xara...

I switch from web to draughtsman mode relatively frequently.
Unfortunately I forget to toggle the Scale Line Width icon to math what I am working on.

The use of NumPad / to toggle the scaling of a line only works while dragging or when a handle is selected.
This is a perverse way to toggle a feature.

Bug - if scaling is enabled, the Set line width box does not update until the handle is released.
The other boxes all do: W,H, X, Y, scaling, skew & angle.

    Bug Re: Scale Line Widths

    Dear Xara...

Bug - in the absence of a reply, the Scale Line Width icon does not make sense being in the Infobar Control bar as it is totally associated with the Set line width Box.
Bug - the Scale Line Width icon does not show in the Button Palette.
Bug - the function, Key_TransformDrag_ScaleLines, invoked by the Scale Line Width icon or Select+Drag with toggle NumPad / does not occur when a Tool other than Selector is used. I scale Boxes with the Rectangle Tool.

the scale line width has another function, besides the obvious, but I cannot remember what it is...

this is not what I was looking for, but I commend it as a hark back to how things used to be:

Totally agree, the boss-man engaging. What a refreshing concept.

Again, the back reference (excellent find, by the way) highlights the problem we have always faced. The set line widths feature got half-implemented (and forgotten) and off we go on bevels, shadows, offsets and feathering.

Pity, the Object Properties has never materialised.

Pity it was all 14 years and twenty days ago.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
