is this possible to do in xara i want to create a tunnel of dots but more symmetrical than this a bit like looking in a railway tunnel..is it possible? Is there a plugin or brush i'm missing???

Not exactly the same, but make your dots, group them, and use the Default Envelope tool...'

Quite tricky to get the Point Handles in place so I gave up:
The middle image is a superposition to show up the mismatches.
