I had a few links Repeating across variants and so in positioning them, I switched from Main to Variant and happened to select the link and then its destination in the pop-up.
The page became inaccessible.

Bug- what happens is the focus jumps to the previous page, which happened to be in the Variant View. The converse is equally true.

Solution - the Previous page code needs to include the detail of which Variant (possibly even View) was last accessed. Ditto for Next page.
