Stick to Top Popup Menu Won't Close

Using Xara Web Designer Premium v16.3

I created a hamburger menu that uses location anchors for use on a single page, vertical super-site. In the header there is a mouse-over menu button that when clicked, displays a mouse-over vertical menu. My problem is that the menu can't be closed by clicking on the 'close' ('X') button - when the 'X' is clicked, the page just closes and directs to 'index.htm' which obviously returns a 404. The 'X' has the attribute 'popup:close' that is placed where the web URL is located under Web Properties. I suspect that the menu won't close because either 'popup-close' is the wrong command, or it's correct and I've placed it in the wrong place. Any help would be appreciated!
