Default How to Match Colors Automatically in Xara

    Hello all.

I got 2 different png images (2d tilesets). I am trying to make them match in brightness/warmth.

How to achieve this in Xara ?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNmCWEYmu_M

I would be very grateful if anyone could point me to a tutorial for it.
I know I have done this many years ago in Xara, but I can't remember how I did it back then.

    Thank you in advance

You can drag the first photo on to your page, select it, go to the photo icon on the flyout bar and select 'Palette from Photo'. This will create a theme of editable colours (Theme Colour 1).

Repeat the process with your second photo; this will create another theme of editable colours (Theme Colour 2). The Help function explains this is more detail. There are two good tutorials too. Part 1: https://outsider.xara.com/tutorials/february16/ and Part 2: https://outsider.xara.com/tutorials/march16/

MN, what would be more sensible is to upload the images and then ask a question and also provide an example of what the "match"ing is supposed to achieve.
There is no "automatic" in Xara but there a lots of controls in the Photo enhance Tool. Your YouTube offering was effectively using these.

if you are still using version 6 of the program your options may be limited

one way to try is to clone your photo, apply hue transparency type to the clone, and adjust the amount of transparency - pick the colour for the hue from the photo you are trying to match

later versions of xara have a photo hue adjustment on the info bar of the photo tool [hue transparency type having been removed, although you can get it back if you wish] that you can apply directly

I got Pro 11 version, but both images is a "tileset" with different tiles for building a 2d world.

1 is very bright and cold tones, while the other got soft and warm tones.

Still haven't manage to do match them up, but guess some stuff just ain't doable the easy way in xara.

Guess i will just "cheat" and use "tint screen". It will not be perfect, but will take away the worst brightness atleast.

But thank you all for trying to help, and for all your tips.
