Some of you might remember me as the 'music dork'...well, a UK-based dance label has been employing me for cover artwork and I thought I'd share one of the latest ones.

While I didn't do 100% xara (the textures were done with GIMP...btw, if they'd just change their stupid name...), the entire design process and illustration stuff was with Xara (i.e. 99% xara, 1% other software).

I'd upload the final graphic, but it was 600dpi, 114mb...and my computer hated every second of it after it was rasterized...but if anyone's curious, I'll produce web-friendly versions.

I was just hoping someone seeing physical product produced with xara would be inspiration for others who think you can't do this kind of work without adobe...you totally can. Cause I do it. Adobe's got people in stockholm syndrome...I think I heard it put best, "They're not great at computing, they're great at marketing!" Yeah...pretty much. /rebel rant.
