    Default Designer X Templates

    Hi.
I broke down and upgraded to Xara designer 16. I have various Designer Pro versions that I have
the templates downloaded. How do I add them to Designer X 16 docker? I have tried adding the folders
from the Templates menu but get various messages as to permissions.any help would be appreciated

Jim, I set up Network Drive access for X:\, Y:\, etc mapping to %localappdata%/Xara/XaraPro/nn/Cache/Designs/ for each nn version.
In Xara, use Local Designs gallery > Disc designs button to maps to your named drive letter(s).

I do it this way as Xara has chosen not to bother letting us name the accessed cache folder without its full path.

Acorn - My currently active Xara software: XDPX (current, v15, v12 & 11 (64-bit)), unserviced XWD Premium 15 & 12, XPGD10, X3D7; lots of licences back through time (to CC's Artworks). If your Post identifies a Xara software fault, please raise it directly with Magix --> support2.magix.com.
