Default Unable to Install Web Designer Premium

I have an issue connecting to xara server when trying to install it.
I downloaded the link they emailed me at Magix site, install - and failed.
Pop up claim there is a fire wall blocking. I turned off all fire wall even uninstalling McAfee - still no go.
I added the install .exe to allowed program - still no go.

I tried installing in other laptops with no issue except this one.
    What could be causing it?

did you install on all the laptops on the same network [router], because if it is a firewall issue it could be the network firewall especially if the one that did not work was at work

it could also be an issue with another programs, security or otherwise on your system... error messages are not always to be taken 100% literally - but there again it could also be a sign of a security breach/virus

run a complete security check on the laptop as a first step

Yes, they are actually in the same network in my office.
I'll try to search for other solutions. Very frustrating since Xara does not reply to support email promptly.

ok well [assuming it's not you ] your office admin may be able to help

I would image the laptop for backup, clean install windows and check it would then install xara - and then restore the backup and start investigating the build

It's also worth double checking your licence activations have not somehow got out of sync just in case...
