    Default Stretchy objects hiding

    Does anyone know why, when you make an object stretchy, it tends to then be behind other objects when published, even though it's in front of those objects in the workspace in Xara?

    My guess is there is something sticky which will move to the top layer.

    Info Re: Stretchy objects hiding

    Xara adds a <DIV> the is the width of the viewport and places a background image (your picture) and set up some CSS, background-size: cover or centre 0px repeat, and sets its depth as z-index=1.

    If you add:
    <style>
    .xr_strb {
    z-index: 99;
    }
    </style>
    to the page HTML Code (head), this should bring your stretch or tile to the front of everything.

    Hi Ed,

    Here's the default setting:

    Stretchy objects appear behind the main page content, unless they are sticky (but not Stick at Top).
