In terms of search I also list via third party web portals as they have so much more knowledge & power than my site would have, & I also market property in Romania & specialise abit in Ro & UK property deals.

You are correct for sure about search, as above I can't compete with the big property portals!

My site is more to provide detailed info' once I get an enquiry from a web portal, it's way above me technically!

    Thanks for your comments.

    Cheers Dave
    Thanks for the info.

If you enter your FTP details into filezilla, you'll be able to create sub-directories to host Xara sub-sites on.

I'm not quite sure how to integrate the software into the site once I customise it.
You can access, for example, a third party property portal in different ways, a simple button link, a Navbar link or embed the property site in one of your own pages. Embedding a site retains the visitor on your site, whereas likely directing them to a third party site can lose their interest in your site.

By way of an example, the attached XAR document gives you an idea. Equally, if you list a property on a third party site, you could have a direct link to that property.

Thanks Paul. Can you advise me what you used to create your get in touch/contact box, that is just what I'm looking for!

The white writing is a little difficult to read against the light picture on the footer of your site, just some words, not a criticism just my experience.

    Regards Dave

    I think you mean me!

I didn't use Xara software to make my website and the form editor is supplied as part of that software. Sorry.

    Fair point!

    Hi Gary
Thanks for that I know how to list via placeholder or navbutton, but unsure how or what I copy or link it from WPB site.

Hmm. Sort of. I bought the original Xara Studio 1.0 and several generations since then. I also loved the early generations of Xara Web Designer which produced several product web pages for one of my clients.

In recent times I have defected to the Mac world, so I can only run Xara through a windows sandbox.

For the work that I do the alternatives available to me are far better, but I love the community here and I've reigned back on my website critiques that used to make me the bad boy of talkgraphics.

Thank you. These days I'm more likely to be making iPad or iPhone apps.

Yes that is correct; you would use the URL that originates from the property portal you create, and/or any URLs that directly link to properties you list on any third party property portals.

In practise though, unless you are going to list lots of properties, maybe a better approach would be to create your own Xara property template? Each property could have its own photo slideshow adjacent to its property details.

    Hi Gary
Thank you, understood. I have started making my own template on Xara, I find the worst thing is the contact forms or the third party sites like Woofu etc, not much adjustment (size wise) from what I can see as I only want something small that any interested party can insert name, phone no' & email.

    Thanks again.

    Kind Regards Dave
