Default WEB SITE CHANGES WON'T Upload - Can anyone help

    Dear All

Can someone test my site & upload I have three problems.

    1. Changes won't seem to upload
    2. From Home page at the bottom of my site I have testimonials & a link to my testimonial page, but something keeps coming up on my live site saying WPI CODE (see below link) on the site I have the link is OK, but the site won't upload/make the changes.
    http://davora.eu

3 On case studies when you hover over the case studies a message says 'Javascript' (see link below)
    Similar problem to the above

    http://davora.eu/case_studies.htm

Not sure how to resolve these,

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Dave

You have added a Placeholder with http://wpicode.com/embed-testimonials/iframe.php?id=868.
Clicking in the box suggests the link ought to be https://wpicode.com/embed-testimonia...ame.php?id=868

From checking http://wpicode.com/, it seems it provides plug-ins for WordPress. Xara websites are not designed for WordPress plug-ins.

    Hi Acorn
Thanks that placeholder has been deleted & a link within the Xara website builder to a testimonials page has been inserted.

That is why I don't understand why the changes won't upload.

    Any clues?

    Thank you again.

    Regards Dave

Are you not seeing the changes when you upload this site?

You may need to refresh the page Ctrl + F5. Browsers cache the pages you have looked at to make the pages load faster the next time you visit. If you refresh the page the changes should appear.

Gary, as I can still see the Placeholder and the testimonials page is wacky, to say the least, I don't think it is browser caching.

I can only guess the site is being published to the wrong folder or, in loading into the right place, the past uploads are swamping out the changes (NabBar colours & links are seem wrong).
The other possibility is a Widget or Placeholder code is wrong or missing something.

Dave, are you using native Xara upload or an FTP?

    Hi Acorn
I am hosted via third party. Host 1and1, Once I make the changes to the site I export them locally to my machine & then to a normal WORD folder. These creates a folder with index at the top & all the relevant files.

To upload I click on the upload tab, export & then enter as below: (plus User & password)
    Server: home112508783.1and1-data.host
    Protocol: SFTP
    Port: 22

After this a grey box open on the top right of the screen.

As far as I know all the above is OK & correct, I don't enter the www.davora.eu domain

The site works & navigates fine on my machine locally.

Thanks again for your messages it's appreciated.

    Kind Regards Dave
