My thanks to @acorn, @egg, @siran and @chris m for their thoughts and script ideas, indirect and direct, over the last few weeks on TG. The result, in part:

I used the base product we market, OmniDisplay (real-time digital displays), Icecream (video capture), Lightworks (video production) and of course Xara, to create from scratch a simple website that brought together WOW sliders and Video that work across mobile and desktop. Intentionally, the mobile variant is lighter and not all the desktop content transitions to the mobile variant. More work to do to iron-out the glitches and performance, but after a few sad TG days, maybe something positive.

Hi Gary & thanks for the kind mention. I'm far better at making negative rather than positive comments so can I critic on just a single issue I have with your excellent site. That's the use of the Yellow rectangles below your call to action 'buttons' (I say buttons as I would expect them to change size on mouse-over). I don't know why I would expect this, perhaps the high contrast between the blue and yellow background, which often signifies such actions? So basically why include that Yellow rectangle?

Gary, a lot of blue sky thinking in your first site.

It is nice how you have pulled a number of concepts together and made them work.

I would aim for making the animations once-only as when I view a site I am back and forth and I find the same animation kicking in each time tedious: a light touch.
