Web Designer standard mp3 player do not run on iOS ?

I use the WD 16.2 standard mp3 player and auto start on some of my pages.
This work OK under Windows and Android, but I get feedback from Apple iOS users that the player do not start.
The problem applies to both iPad and iPhone.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

I've just discovered that auto-start doesn't work under Windows either when using Firefox, so the problem might be there (?).
You will find the link underneath this explanation:
The first blue button links to a page with a written poem where a voice simultaneously reads the poem (automatic start). You can return using the small button.
The other blue button has the same function and leads to a different poem, but here a timer will return it after 56 seconds.
None of these methods work under Firefox or iOS so far.
Below in black are the two same poems allocated to XWD mp3 player without link to any text web page.

Unsure if this applies to iOS, but Firefox blocks websites from autoplaying sounds by default (Options > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Permissions).

The links at the bottom of the screen work but not the buttons in the middle that go to the pages. iPhone X

Yes, autostart doesn't work on iOS or Andriod, and slowly will be the case in desktop browsers also. We will likely disable the option to autostart in the future.

After the latest information I received, I changed my strategy and posted my poems as a Podcast on Spotify.
It seems to solve all compatibility issues.
