Exclamation Help with settings needed for Page & Layout Designer 11!

    Hi all,
Somehow I have changed some basic settings in Page & Layout Design 11.
1] My menu bar is only showing up when I point my cursor at the top of the screen. I want to pin it again... HOW DO I DO THAT? (<---super embarrassed to ask that question, but, hey, it's that kind of day.)

2] Suddenly, when I turn on my guides and snap to guides, 3 things are happening:
    a. when I select the arrow I can no longer pick up guides previous placed, and
    b. I can no longer switch from horizontal to vertical guide selectors, and
    c. the arrow will not stay an arrow and allow me to select objects

    Finally....

3] My page background is unlocked but is showing as halfway down my layout instead of as a full page. But when I export it in pdf form, it is correct. Any idea why?

Signed, feeling humbled and like a total newbie...

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

I would just shut down the computer and call it a day.

It sounds like you have entered Full Screen mode. Go to Window > Full Screen and see if Full Screen is checked. If yes, un-check it.

I have no idea what is going on in your second question.

I am not sure why you want your page background unlocked. In this state any background image you have will not be locked in place and can be moved like any other object.

Also, take a look around the corner and make sure Rod Serling is not lurking just off camera.
