Default How to load ICC color profile in Xara Xtreme 5?

I'm starting with sublimation and Xara is my only graphic design program, is that even possible? I know it's an old version but still perfect for my work, and since Xara stole my Xara Designer license I don't plan to buy it again. Just trying to get this color profile thing working.

    Thanks

As far as I know this is not possible. I am going to move this thread to Dear Xara which is for bug reports and feature requests. Mike (mwenz) might have a better answer.

I don't. Other than to beat the color management (very) dead horse.

Xara applications are not color managed so one cannot "load" an ICC/ICM color profile. One can only use an output profile when creating a PDF.

So, then if Designer Pro X or Photo & Graphic Designer were really "Pro" application they would have color management? Is that correct?

Oh, Gary, are you tempting me to do my typical rant

Ultimately the answer is yes. It would remove some of the stress/worry/guess work out of the process.

However, as you have demonstrated, even with the lack of other "professional" features--like master pages, proper text style support, better paging, better page numbering, etc.,--you produce good books. So there is also the old adage that comes into play much of the time: It is a poor workman...

It's a poor workman who blames his lack of color management.
