In this case, offering me a base version, which is a marginal value, I want to be offered an upgrade (yes for money) to the Pro or Premium version.

But in general I still find the Magix upgrade pricing model a sham.

I have used Movie Edit Pro Plus/Premium for the past 3 years. So really prefered that over the Vegas Studio license. Although I believe it is the very basic version so not sure the actual value to me. I did send a request to Sales for an upgrade quote to go to Plus or Premium.

Would be so much smarter of Magix to give me a credit to use on any Magix or Xara product I would actually like to have.

Well I can see that the file name says 2019 so it's probably from last year.
