I tried to export a vector logo to svg and import it to my web page. The result once viewed on a browser is a bitmap? Can someone give me an idea as to what the process is?

Hi Behzad, I tend to use the img tag as long as it a non animated one
SOURCEThe svg is rendered by the placeholder size.
<img src="svgs/guitar.svg" width=100% height=100% scrolling=no frameborder=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0 />

Egg thank you, but I am really confused as to how to do this. Would you care to attach an example?
Egg, I saw your video on youtube. Cool, But what a big trouble to impliment an svg into a website. I mean I will stick with bitmap for now.

Was the image a bitmap to begin with or does it have something like a soft shadow that would cause it to be a bitmap?
The logo I posted in Acorn's thread, and which I will post here, downloads into Xara as outlined shapes and can be scaled up or down in Xara as any vector shape.

Thank you guys. Will try both of your files. Just thinking if SVG is really needed in web design, considering how little other than the logo can be a vector graphic.
The logo did not have any shadows or transparencies. However I did notice that the stroke shapes ends that are sharp are rendered square shape. Will try to post it here later.
Also very useless if we can not drop and SVG into the web page and have it display vector on the browser. Does Xara now need an Import feature for SVG?
behzad, are you aware of https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...A-Web-Exports?
This handles browsers that cannot deal with SVGs directly.
Still needs Xara to engage.
