Little Weed
I took this photo of a weed in my garden (I'm very good at weeds) as I liked the small attractive flowers.
Ran it through Prisma on my mobile (Can't remember the filters name as I think it was the filter of the day) then imported it back into Xara, cut out a quick vector of the lower and applied a very slight contour with a transparency. Did the same again with the stigma & stamens in an effort to get the flower to come forward. Finally applied a elliptical cut out with a heavy feather.
Don't do enough drawing these day, to busy since retiring, I couldn't go back to work, there's just not enough time in the day.
