    Default Kalinin K-7

Originally drew this Kalinin K-7 several years ago. Russian design from the 30's. The wingspan was 174 feet, could carry 120 passengers in it's civilian form. They sat in the 7 1/2 foot deep wings. The planes had structural problems though.

Kind of like the Spruce Goose in the size and number of engines.

Beautiful image, Gray, but a rather nasty-looking, albeit very impressive plane.

Thanks for taking a look Gary, Boy. She was a monster of a plane for it's era.

Well that's what you get for booking these cheap holiday packages and take your prayer book with you!
    A great drawing Gray.

Those cheap seats are not always worth it. Thanks for the comment, stygg.

Superb rendering as always Gare. What is that below the fuselage, a gondola?

EDIT: Just did a search for Kalin K7 and saw a video of a model. They're fixed wheel undercarriages.

Thanks, Egg. You're right on your observation. I do believe you enter the aircraft through a door on the side of them.
