A plane I had never heard of before, nor the story (or maybe I have but forgotten it). Good job!

I love it gray, especially the explanation. you certainly do your homework. Not only do I like all your art, but, the history you add. Thank you.

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
Thanks Paul, Larry. The 40's and 50's were interesting times in plane design.

I see you've been very busy Gray Hope they paid you well Has you have mentioned Frank Whittle in #1 Gray, Whittle is my surname, full title being Stephen J Whittle but I'm afraid I can't design jet engines, it takes me all my time to draw a rectangle in Xara

Paul, thanks for that link. That was a great story. The air pioneers of that time had nerves of steel.
Thanks Stygg. You must be a relative of Frank Whittle. He was one smart guy. He didn't get a fraction of what he deserved from his government. You may not design jet engines but I think your drawings are great. I wish more people would post their work. Where have all the members gone?
