Free website space

Hi, So is it so that as long as I have a subscription to Xara, I will have web space? I currently have 500M space. I heard there is a way to get more space by applying a promo code? I do not have this code.
Also can one install wordpress on there?

I don't think you can install a CMS system Behzad.

I use my free account at xara.hosting to test pages and sites and to post examples for this forum. Other than that I prefer to use a full service web hosting company. The M Hosting package I think it is called, is not really a full service package. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Check the receipt email that you received when you renewed the update service (or purchased Xara DPX). There, you'll find, "COUPON - Website M - This is the coupon code for your free account upgrade & domain: G2-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" etc.

It goes on:
"Your benefits:
- 2000 MB of web space with direct access from Xara Web Designer Premium / Xara Designer Pro X
- 1 domain of your choice" Link_to, What? GoDaddy???

and at the bottom is a button to redeem voucher.

I got this a few years ago and receive a voucher each time I renew the update service. I use this to renew the M package each year. To renew this, you have to raise a ticket on Magix asking them to pay for the next year using the voucher code.

However, as Gary says, it's not a full service package, so I only use this for a personal web site that has no whistles or bells.

Perfect. Godaddy asked me for $168 hosting this year again. Considering I can redirect my domain from there to Xara, I have decided to host my site on Xara and pay that money for the renewal of Xara. John thank you for the info, I will raise that with Magix today.

Did you find the email and the same link?

I don't ever remember it going to GoDaddy until today. I find it very strange.

I opened a ticket with Magix, hopefully then can resend it, might have lost or deleted it.
