    just for the record [politics aside] the original version is - 'in the uk for the first time ever, the end of may will come before the end of april' - that proved a tad premature...

    A little semi-off-topic diversion: Beyond the occasional glass with a meal, I’m not much of a wine drinker (as a rule), but something I’ve never considered is the fact there is an official wine tasting glass with an ISO specification (ISO 3591:1977) ‘Sensory analysis - Apparatus - Wine tasting glass’. So now you know too! Have a good rest of May (oops!)
