It does seem not to work. But if I open any PDF document (Acrobat is my default program to open PDF) the size is never 100%. I have to wonder if this has more to do with PDF documents.

I have found the easiest way to achieve a 100% PDF view is to export the PDF in Xara and use the free Acrobat Reader to set the parameters for how you want the document to open, saving it thereafter. The PDF will maintain these parameters when opened, but leave an option for anyone viewing the PDF to change the way they view it, saving it locally to maintain those view parameters.
I always set Acrobat to 100% and when I am working on a book to two page view and it never remembers.

Good point Initostar. I went to the preference in acrobat and set view to 100% and closed it. It did work now.
Duh. I just did this and it works. (smack upside the head!)
