Missing Tables - I really need a Table

I was sold a bundle of software from MAGIX including Xara premium.
It seems I have
Xara Web Design Premium. 12.6.2.54590. CD X 64. Sept 19 2018
update code 4157 KA3
I clicked update and message read "up to date"
I right clicked on the Xara desktop icon and get "Web Designer 12 Premium"
Was I sold the latest version ?

The latest version of Designer Pro X is 16.1.1 March 2019

If you check for updates, Xara checks to see if the version you have has any updates.

Joned, all the (Smart) Tables came after v12!

I would suggest you were sold out-of-date stock. This explains why you didn't get access to the Website M option either.

Hi Acorn.
I phoned Legacy software (Magix partner) and explained I was sold a software bundle including Xara Web Design Premium, and right clicking the desktop icon displays V12. They assured me I had the latest version once I'd opened the software despite the icon. However, they agreed to send me V16 due out in 6 weeks as a good will gesture - so I'll wait and see.
Assuming I do have the updated and current Xara premium I've still not been able to locate any (data) Tables except the one previously mentioned.
I'm wondering if I should internet search for a Table HTML code and attempt insertion that way.

I am confused why they are not sending you V16 now, V16 is already out. If an update comes out in 6 weeks you would still be able to get it. I think you need to contact them again.

Download the trial version of Pro X 16 and you will be able to do what you want with the latest & greatest.

Get back with Xara/Magix and download your software and enter your license key.

Maybe someone here has more info than I do, and certainly more specifics.

I'm a coder and definitely not super-good at this customer support thingy.

Sorry but Pro has always been the flagship product as far back as Xara Designer Pro 3.2.

It does make sense to use the trial period of Xara Web Designer Premium v16 in the interregnum but I think the trial will not access the Smart data tables until licensed.

The licence key for v12 will not activate v16.

Version 12 is old, old, old.

Versions were 11, 12, 15, and now 16.


Honestly! I think you should return your purchase and buy online directly from Xara/Magix.

BUT, be sure to buy the software that you really need/want.

... in order, least to most there is Designer, Premium, and then Pro X (currently v16).
