Default New Stereogram - If it's wet it's...

I've been experimenting with layers of transparency and combining Hidden Image with Mapped Texture Stereogram images.

The Select Colors to Enhance is great for dropping out a black backgrouind (Make Transparent).

If anyone is interested I can break this image down in more detail.

The slanted 'R's make a nice wave.

That's great. Plenty of depth! . I'd be interested to know more. I find stereograms easy enough to see, but they are a complete mystery to me.

    It says WATER Larry.

I'll try to post a link in a day or two. I have to decide how many of my secrets I dare to reveal. This image has many layers.

I love 3D pictures and that one is soooo deep. I got really good over the years at letting my eyes relax into the effect rather than forcing them. It's amazing how we can fool our brains. I bought several Stereogram books over the years from about the early 90's, but never had any real success at emulating them and the software I had back then is probably too old to run on a modern PC. I'll have to have a go in XDP at some of the clever techniques I'm seeing here

I explain the process here https://www.talkgraphics.com/showthr...am-The-Process

My stereogram partner (who I have never met) Gene Levine and I have been creating stereograms for over 20 years. We have a business guy in Michigan who were have likewise never met. But it seems to work out just fine.

    Gary,

Just curious, does your partner Gene use the same type of software and Xara to create the stereograms or does he use a different software and process?
