Default Logo in Web browser tab

Can anyone tell me how to add a logo in the web tab rather than it being just the default page looking icon.

    Thanks.

Create a square graphic and remember this is going to be about 16 pixels wide.

With the graphic/logo selected. click the yellow tag icon at the top of the screen. Enter favicon for the name and click Add.

When you publish your site the graphic will automatically be published and will appear in the browser tab.

You can use an online tool to create favicon, tou just need a 256 or 512 PNG, is easier and create different versions for every device.

You do not need code, just do add the images in the HTML folder.

    Google: "create favicon online".

The nice thing about using the Name favicon approach is you can test it in the Firefox browser from a Preview without Publishing.

    carlj, welcome to TalkGraphics.

Do, however, read the earlier Posts in a Thread.
Xara Desktop applications already accommodate favicon generation without having to use an external ICO generator or manipulate the anything anywhere else.
Not all Xara users have access to CPanel or use WordPress (WP), which you have assumed are somehow relevant. Xara websites are not compatible with WP directly.

I make them with https://realfavicongenerator.net/ this generator creates also different sizes for all browsers and platforms, even for windows 10 tiles.
Like when you make a homescreen link in android the icon looks like your favicon.
