Hi everyone,

Xara is looking for more beta testers to join the Closed Beta Testers (CBT). The CBT are valued members of the Xara community and help us test the latest version of Xara for bugs and problems, as well as provide feedback before it is released to the public. Ideally, we are looking for candidates with the following criteria, but not strictly required:

- Have used Xara for at least the past several versions (e.g. version 12,15 etc…)
- Have experience with creating websites in Xara (added bonus for experience with web languages such as HTML, CSS...)
- Have experience generally with graphics and website software
- And most importantly, a love and desire to help shape our desktop titles into the best possible software!

If you would like to join the CBT, please send an email to robert@xara.com and include:

- A short description of yourself
- Some content examples you created with Xara (if you have any)
- The email address of your main account with your serial numbers (if it is different to the one you send your application from)
- A link to your TalkGraphics account

What do CBT members do?
The CBT workspace is where testers can provide feedback, bug reports and help us in identifying areas in which the program can be improved prior to it being released officially. The three core items that CTG members contribute are:

1) Bug reports: First and foremost, as whilst we do our best to test features as much as possible before they are released to the testers, there will inevitably be things we have missed. Testers provide us with bug reports that we can send to the developers to be fixed before release.

2) Observations: Some items may not qualify exactly as bugs but less obvious problems like spelling, performance related issues or other unusual behaviour.

3) Suggestions: We take everyone’s feedback into account when it comes to developing the next set of features, but the CBT are the first to see these features and it's important to iron out usability and stability issues before they are officially released. If there is a particular feature that is unwieldy or could benefit from better work-flow improvements then it's good to hear how it could be improved.

Please feel free to message me or ask below if you have any questions and I'd be happy to help.

Many thanks
Rob
