my memory says that a bitmap copy with alpha may not resolve the alpha issue on export with alpha, but i'd need to check

hi handrawn thanks for your message actually in prox10 it is very easy to do.
try this:
1 import a photo jpeg png etc
2 make it grey scale with saturation button
3 make it two/thre colors with brightness and contrast buttons
4 copy the image with EDIT > COPY PHOTO se enclosed img
5 paset the copyed imgae with EDIT > PASTE OPACITY MASK IN PLACE see enclosed img
6 while the pasted mask active choos the color black with LMB on color scale
7 done all background is clear and the image is black easy as that
i am so pissed off you can't imagine as for some fucked reason sombody at xara just thrown a way the great function and devastated prox16
