The 365 was likely dropped because it would cause confusion with the new series of subscription-based options that Magix has introduced. These are all something 365 and are true subscription; you pay for a year, if you don't renew, the program stops working. Examples: Vegas Pro 365 and Samplitude Pro X 365. There are also the normal versions that you pay for and keep.

Presently, Xara products are for-purchase only and include the 1-year update service. If you don't pay again after a year, the program keeps on working but access to the on-line catalogue stops. You can read more about the Update Servers here on the Magix web site.
