Info Re: The 'Mold' Tool... What am I missing about this tool?

Cliff, don't know if this way is of any use.

Create a New Brush from your image.
Use the Shape Tool to mark out a line the same width.

    Play with the line controls.

Acorn... new thing for me... (creating brushes) Not quite sure what "mark out a line the same width is"... but I'm sure gonna get to work playin' with it to find out...

THAT LOOKS FANTASTIC! If I can accomplish that, I'll be a happy camper... thank you so much...!

Well Acorn... your work-around got to a better place.... good enough for a mock-up, which is all I was asked to do.... so it's a bit more realistic - not perfect - but good enough for the purpose.... My first play with it... I refine over time. THANK YOU.

Now...! XARA... really... c'mon... are you kidding? You're gonna let Adobe and some other apps have this capability (bitmap warp / mesh warp) and not implement it here? Really?!?!?!

    Cliff,

Gimp has a distort function and under that that is a tool called Curve Bend that would probable do what you want.

I do like the brush option in Xara.
