Default how remove clickable link area from image hover widget?

Hi, this is about an image hover widget that reveals text when mouseover AND becomes a clickable link.
I would like this to become just a hover revealing some text and no link.

I can remove the link as with all links in WD but then it becomes an empty link going nowhere.

Can someone point me how i can get rid of the link or is here a coding genius that can program it out?

It's this hoover: Components/image resources/photo hovers/hover widget 3 (the one with the girl revealing the text up)

    mosaic_slide_1.web

I want to publish some photo's from my work, and the hover to show the textbox with an explanation about the photo.
and of course i went through this forum first for a solution.

    Thank you very much.

You still have a hashtag in the Link section. Click the 'Description Of Image' box, open Web Properties and choose 'Do Nothing'.

I uploaded the original widget as is, unmodified.

I'm sorry, i tried that but even with "do nothing" checked the preview still has a clickable link function.
it's something deeper in that widget, not the editable standard link function.

Not sure what to tell you.
I just opened it again and when I click Do Nothing it does exactly that. Using the preview in Xara, Edge and FF there is no hint of a link.

Hi Chris, thank u for looking into it.

However here (WDpremium/win7/64/ultimate/i5) V16.1.1 it doesn't work. Also checked in my old WD V12, the same result.
I made a little vid, empty page only that widget remove link save preview and still the hand shows up in the textbox.

If possible maybe it's an option to send me your correct working version without the link function in a file?
    That would solve it too.

    Thanks!

I think it is all but impossible (TG Challenge here!) to remove the hand cursor.

All I can offer is replace the "#" with "javascript: void();".
You still have the hand but the link does nothing.

I have removed Names and added CSS to no great effect.

    THANK U!

That's enough for me, yes i tried the names department too but no avail.

But this is a great workaround on what i had in mind.
It's my personal site so i will not get any complains

    Cheers again Acorn
