Unless you use a password manager, is there anyone, these days, who has less that 12 passwords?

Good find HD. This site gives a decent insight to password results. You can get very unexpected results. Of course I can't guarantee the accuracy of their results
Here's an example:
password = 3.5hrs
Password = 1 Month-6 Days
^Password = 8 Centuries
^Password^ = 80 Millennia
My^PassWord^ = 683638 Millennia
My^Pass&Word^ = 62894702 Millennia
My^Pass&Word^& = Infinity

My nephew who is in college for programming, but in high school, for his science fair project, he created various passwords and used a password breaking (hacking) software to test which is best. Anything less than a 16 character password could be broken in a matter of hours, some a few days at most, but a 16+ character password, took over a month to break, meaning, while not unbreakable, if you want "security" you have to consider a 16+ character password - noting of course, upper and lower case, numbers and special keys for that super security. Of course, my chosen passwords are in the low security bracket.
I'm waiting for a block chain internet system to come about, then security is far, far less a problem.
I have a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters. My cousin's facebook was recently hacked by a person from Thailand.
I have a lot more than 12 Rik
long passwords are definately the way to go - sometimes I use obscure passages from books or song lyrics but that are easy for me to rememberOriginally Posted by Gamerprinter
