    Interesting. I did wonder about the blinds because normally they are weighted at the bottom and the blinds have a strip on a vertical edge - that would indicate a stairwell.

    Looking at the larger picture the metal parts could be railings and a cage to stop people jumping.

    I'll stick with the hallway. I think the lights look odd and could be temporary lighting set on the floor.

    Stairwell, only after examining the blind drop and the bolts and fittings.
