Paste size issue with DPX16.1

Hi guys

When I use the "Paste Size" function, the result does not match what is described in the Designer Pro 16.1 help files. The result is a cropped image rather than a resized image. See Attachment

The Designer Pro 16.1 help file states:

Paste size
This option applies the size of a copied object on the clipboard to a currently selected object, which resizes around its center to the exact size of the copied object.

Can you please let me know when this will be fixed and when "Paste Size" will result in a resize rather than a crop.

Note: If your development team say this is by design, then can I strongly urge you to revert this to the way it worked in previous versions (and perhaps adding a Paste Crop function.

I believe this behaviour has been changed internally, so that it will scale like before if the aspect ratio is the same or scale and crop if the aspect ratio is different.

It's still in testing phase at the moment so you'll need to wait for a patch I'm afraid.
