Hello,

Is there a good way to create a snow effect ie clouds and snow on the ground only the search facility isn't working. I have used the technique in the Dec '97 Tut to create snowflakes (also the window reflection which I wanted too http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif) but I really would like to do more. Thanks.

used a light grey then in the contour it went to white.

Saz, great call on that TUT - I downloaded it and will try it today. I have most of the TUTs on the CD but not those from 2004. Also as I said to Mike I have yet to go broadband so this is not good news when downloading http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif.Blame the bank for my apathy http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif. I must have downloaded hours of info on Xara so far already. Not to mention all the free programmes like Blender, Daz,Deeppaint, wings and no I can't use any of them - yet http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif. Got the blender book the other day....very thick and lots of words ( the book not me http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif).
