    It is quite nice Rik, but for something ancient it's far too clean. It needs decades worth of grunge and patina. and perhaps the shaft would look good made of wood.

    The Iron Age started thousands of years ago. So, the whole spear is made of metal, fit for a King.
    The king didn't want a wooden handle like the rest of his army!
    And you also say that it's too clean and that it needs decades worth of grunge and patina.
    Well, that would be true if I had found one centuries after it had been made, and if I was going for that look.

    This is what it looked like when it was new, and when it was presented to the King on that beautiful red cloth!

    And at the end of the day, this drawing was more about using the scribble to draw something.
